Functional medicine is a systems biology–based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease for the individual. Each symptom or differential diagnosis may be one of many contributing to an individual's illness. The approach and treatment plan is individualized, patient-centered and collaborative. A Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach uses Functional Medicine principles and positive psychology coaching techniques to guide clients to reach their desired health outcomes.

Yes. Seeing a Dietitian as well as a Health and Wellness Coach is eligible for reimbursement with FSA, HSA and HRAs. You will need a letter of medical necessity from your doctor or health care professional. A Superbill (see question above regarding a Superbill) will be provided for your reimbursement.

Although we welcome a doctor’s referral, it is not necessary if you are a self pay client. Some insurance plans require a referral for coverage. Please check with your plan. Communicating your progress with your provider is recommended.

Office hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Wednesdays.

Picasso Health & Nutrition is primarily a virtual practice, but I am able to see in-person clients/groups in the Red Lodge, Montana area.

As a Dietitian licensed in Montana, I can see Montana clients for Medical Nutrition Therapy as well as states without licensure such as Colorado and California. If we are seeing each other for Health Coaching you can be from anywhere!
