“Therese is a compassionate health advocate with a wide range of knowledge. She listens closely, does her research and makes recommendations based on your values. She will always ask what you think and how you feel and is genuinely interested in your answer. I have had very poor experiences with the ‘healthcare’ industry and have been made to feel like nothing more than a number, a time slot, and at times an irritant punctuating their busy days. Therese saw me as a human in need of personal care and she offered that. She helped me breathe easier which opened a door to learning about how I could better advocate for and help myself.”

“Therese was able to listen and she knew the right things to ask me so that I would see for myself what I need to do. She broke it down for me in small steps which took the anxiety from me. I stopped the behavior to stuff my hurt with food. Therese has helped me learn how to take care of myself. I am putting my needs first.”

“Instead of offering all the answers, Therese asks thought provoking questions. This encouraged me to look within.”

“Therese set the tone for the first session by asking “What is your vision of optimal health and well-being?” What I liked most about Therese was that she was a great listener and listened with compassion. But she also encourages action steps. We set small, achievable goals for the next session and reviewed goals from the prior session, so I could see where I’d made progress. Therese would ask what I wanted to talk about, and she was willing to discuss almost anything. We discussed many topics, from positive self-talk to better food choices for my Diabetes. She sent me a written summary of each session. She offered suggestions, not advice. She was level-headed and practical. She was supportive and pointed out successes that I had minimized or overlooked.”

“I’ve made my physical health more of a priority, and I feel better. I started physical therapy, am doing the exercises and have less back pain. For the first time in 4 years I walked farther than 1 1/2 miles (4 miles!). I’m introducing foods that help keep my A1C levels lower. Procrastination causes a lot of anxiety in my life, and I get overwhelmed and immobilized. Developing small, achievable action steps has made a huge change in my life. I’m better at positive self-talk, practicing gratitude, and rewarding myself for small successes. I would highly recommend Therese as a coach.”

“My coaching sessions helped me look at what was derailing me from achieving my goals. It also helped me see the wins I had and celebrate that success. I have several new self care routines that help my overall wellness thanks to the work I did under Therese’s guidance.”

“Sessions focused on health goals for myself that were refined from general terms and focus on attainable goals. I’m surprised that I can set goals with specifics and having the goal is motivating. And I can be successful achieving the goal. Then we reviewed my goals each session and Therese sent out a summary of goals and my progress. That was also motivating.”
